MEET Our Founders
Smita Vyas Kumar
Co-Founder
Smita considers herself a serial entrepreneur. She founded and profitably ran Craftbox India, a pioneer in India’s hobby craft industry.
As a marketing professional she has worked on marketing, sales and promotional assignments for several companies.
A graduate of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, she worked extensively with NGOs focused on women empowerment. Her last business also had women as the core customer group. MyTree is an extension of her journey in this space.
Sangeeta Mall
Co-Founder
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Sangeeta spent close to 20 years as a corporate executive and an IT education entrepreneur before turning to creative writing.
Sangeeta has published two novels and several short stories, and she also pursues corporate content writing.
A taste for community building through food, a taste for food and a taste for entrepreneurship made MyTree the perfect landing stage for Sangeeta!
Satyen Hombali
Co-Founder
Satyen studied at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Michigan State University.
Over a career spanning 40+ years, he has worked in multiple countries, cultures and institutional settings, fulfilling a variety of roles that have included technology management, software product management, IT services management, and consultancy.
Satyen’s mission at MyTree has been to help create a software product that will delight our customers while at the same time providing a foundation for our future.
Omendu Prakash
Co-Founder
Founder of SEED Design & Consultancy, a design firm with clients in the FMCG, retail, spaces and food sector. Actively involved in Brand Design, Product Innovation, Consumer Experience, Decoding Cultural Behaviour and Spotting new consumer/design trends.
Omendu is Fashion Design Graduate from NIFT Bangalore and an artist in his spare time.

Vaishali Shah
Operations
Vaishali is a professionally qualified individual having 20+ years of corporate experience with Corporate Shared Services – business support, vendor management & governance, risk & compliance management. In addition, entrepreneurial experience acquired from running a family business as a partner.
When not working Vaishali loves to walk miles and explore new places where she can eat authentic traditional recipes with her friends and family.
Chhavi Kanodia Garg
Marketing & Customer Strategy
Chhavi is a Chartered Accountant with more than 14 years of rich and diversified Big 4 experience in M&A, restructuring (conceptualization & implementation), business strategy/execution, marketing and communication for boot strap startups in digital space.
She is a travel enthusiast. Poetry writing and doodling are her stress busters.
Karen Dsouza
Operations
Karen is a qualified professional with around 15+ years of experience in the retail and E-tailing sectors, handling promotional offers, branding communications, and loyalty database, with a flair for coordinating between customers and businesses alike.
Her interests are reading books and watching movies.
